First Molt

First Molt

I have a crab who has been down for about a month now, I thought he/she was just destressing so I let it be. Well I set up a bigger tat and was moving everyone to it, so I decided to slide the aquarium out enough to see if he/she was on the bottom and I could see whats going on and here is what I saw....

I was so happy to see the crab had molted and not died. I'm now whating impatiently for it to come up.
13 Hermit Crabs (8 PP's and 5 E's), 5 Cats-Stinker, Chief, Cowboy, Trouble and PITA, 1 Dog-Cocoa, 1 Betta, and last but never least 4 Kids and a Husband.

Cool you should document this so that you can see the molting process up close.

Very nice! I did that same when I was worried about one of mine... slid the tank halfway off the table and took pictures :)
