Yippee! A successful molt always calls for a dancing banana!! Or two  !

Would that it were easy to get our new crabs out of their nasty painted shells. Just offer a selection of appropriately sized shells and he'll eventually switch after a great deal of shell shopping. You probably already know this but, if he's a PP, shells with O-shaped openings (like turbos) are the ones they prefer; that said, most painted shells tend to have D-shaped openings (like whale eye shells) so try to have a few of those available, too, as he may initially feel more comfortable in a shell similar to the painted one.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale
Also Mom to Imogene the Syrian Hamster
