He may not finish all the exoskeleton.

ok than to me it would appear hes finished molting but he doesn't seem active
hes just chilling in his shell, i assume they need alittle extra de-stress time after
their finished? because he didn't appear like 'jelly' his skin seemed hard.

Well molting takes a lot out of them. You can offer some highly nutritious foods like raw honey and smashed boiled egg. It is probably ready to go back into the main tank.

how would i administer the honey??? does it need to be some kind of special organic stuff?
hes actually in his molt cave which i dug up but i placed a tupper ware over it. he still hasn't
eaten much more of his exo and still isn't really moving, but he is still alive. Not sure
what else to do at this point. I also still have 2 down molting and one who i thought was
just playing, who now i think is molting too. So it leaves me with only 1 crab out in the open
and i feel really bad for him that is friends aren't around to keep him company.

Crabs like groups but will be fine alone until their companion's arise! It has to be all natural unprocessed honey, or even peanut butter (all natural) is good :)
I've had to dig up molters once.
One took four days to eat his exo, then another week of recovery before releasing.
The other took a month in Iso and a week of recovery (pre molt)
There is nothing you can do right now but give him his privacy and good food and try to relax! I know easier said than done i was a nervous wreck myself. Happy endings do happen though.

where should i place the food the cave is very small?
theres not much room to place it should i try toi put some crushed oyster shell in there?
i do believe in my pre-mixed sub there is already that in it but maybe a small cap full of it?
it doesnt appear hes ready to eat...so im not sure what i can do here.

Just place it in a sprinkle on the sub that way he can get to it easy!
