should I be worry

I have 4 crabs in a 29 gallon tank. 2 of them I got back in June of this year. And the other 2 in August. The 2 I had got back in June has been buried for about 14 weeks now. They are one med and one large. The med had came up last week but, the large I haven't seen since I brought them home the last sunday in June. Is that normal for a large crab to be down for 14 weeks????

I've had a small crab stay down for 4 full months.

Larger crabs take longer to molt, but they do it less frequently. I would just wait a little longer.

today I had a gut feeling that the large crab from the shore had died. So, I had went to find him and sure inuff I had found him and as soon I had picked him up he fell right out of the tank. And when I had picked him up his body had crumbled. I think he had died from PPS. Anyway I had to change water pools and food and found another crab by mistake looks like in a middle of a molt. So, I put back in the tank and put something over top of him. I hope he makes it through.

If his body crumbled that might have been exoskeleton instead.
