Should I keep him in iso?

Last week I adopted a few new crabs. One of the crabs I adopted was dug up for transportation and had JUST molted. He was very soft and pink so I immediately isolated him. Since then he has darkened and hardened. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should add him to the main tank or not.
In my mind he needs to stay in isolation until his next molt since this last one wasn't only interrupted but he also found himself in a new tank. I feel like moving him to yet another new tank would be very stressful to add on top of it. I don't know much about his history or personality so I'm not sure if he's just shy because he recently molted or if he's shy in general or if he's just super stressed.
On the other hand, he's moving around on his own just fine and I wonder if he misses having his buddy with him (who is in the main tank now).
What are your thoughts?
