HCA: Hermit Crab Association

My little guy molted for 2 months and he's finally back! He been up for about 4 days now. Last night he was eating a bunch! He's a bit more skittish and a little defensive. Is that normal behavior right after molting?

Yep, perfectly normal. With some crabs, it's like they've just been born and have to figure out where they are, what's going on, etc; other crabs come up from a molt and just resume their lives, la-di-dah. I have both types .
