First molt a success- new big puncher

Post by Hermias_mom » Sat Apr 15, 2017 1:23 am

I was so excited to see Branch up today- hes a small male who went down a few weeks after we brought him home. He'd apparently done a surface molt at the pet store, and had lost his big pincher and bent his back walking leg. Also some antenna damage. Everything is back and healthy! Yea Branch! Yea me! I wasn't sure if my sandcastle consistency was just right, but there's now a healthy happy crab, so I can stop worrying. :)

Congrats my guy was down for exactly a month and I worried everyday if my substrate was right so I totally get it.

Thanks guys! I've been trying hard to make a good crabitat. I'm so glad Branch lived!
