I've never had a molter before my one of my crabs is getting super pale and i read somewhere that that's a sign that hes gonna molt soon. Should I isolate him or leave him be?

I think just leave it alone. The crabs seem to know when it’s time to dig.

Crabs do not need to be isolated to molt. That's old school advice, and not necessary. If you have all your tank conditions set up properly, they will be fine in the main tank.

Is your substrate at least 6 inches or three times as deep as your largest crab?
How many crabs do you have in what size of tank?
