Troubles finding the right spot
My hermit crab has been having a VERY hard time finding the right place to molt. The other two are just fine. But this one has been up and down underground, under the water, under the food. She is definitely ready to molt since she has her sacs on her side. The soil is not quite ideal. But I cannot change it due to the other two molting.

She’ll molt when she’s ready. Hermit crabs don’t always molt immediately and may do some burrowing first.

Some crabs are just little moles! Tunneling around can be normal for them.
