i had a small crab well not small but teeny and he molted overnight and i was like omg i know he’s small but..
then he’s like a weird orange color (not his norm) and very small like his pincher is less than half it’s old size
is it possible because he molted so fast that he still would be like this but i would not know because he’d be under the sub?
and by the way he’s been like this for maybe 3 weeks or so

This is normal. Your crab may have had some deformities or a dead part of their leg that was rid of and renewed in molting. The bright coloring is completely normal and exciting! They normally get paler as molting approaches. Is your crab still alive?

Not sure how many crabs you have, but could it be a different crab...in somebody else’s shell? Just a thought...
