Cold temperatures affecting molt?

Hello, my two crabs have been under the substrate for 2 months (I have a camera so I know they have not come up). I used to hear them periodically moving under the sand, but since Its gotten a little colder here I haven't heard them in 2 weeks which is unusual. My temperature used to be around 80 degrees fahrenheit but has since dropped to 73-75 degrees fahrenheit for little over a week, I'm worried the sand itself has gotten too cold and has done something to affect them. I don't know if this is possible or if anyone else has experienced this. Im not sure whether they are molting or destressing but aware that they could be under for another couple months as they are large/medium size crabs. Since my house heater has been turned on the temperature now sits at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

I wouldn't worry about that temperature drop. 73-75 is still very safe for PPs. I would not think that the sand would have dropped too much colder during that time, not enough to affect their molt.
