Where are you?

I think one of mine might be molting. But I can't see anywhere in the sand where he may have buried himself. I WILL NOT dig around, but I'm worried. Both my others have changed into new shells but are out and about.
Can they get stuck in the sand? I have only changed water bowls and changed food like I always do. Ugh!
I have seen that one go under the sand and cover and unless I had seen it do it, I would have never known it was there. So I am going with all is ok, but lord my crab momma heart.

When you have a sufficient amount of substrate, you likely won't see where they went under or where they are. I believe they back fill where they go under at. As long as your sub is at least 3x the height of your largest crab, and moistened to sand castle consistency, try not to worry. I have 6 crabs in my 40 gal, and I could only see 2 out last night. They are great at hiding.
