Regenerated Legs

One of my large indos ( this is a female one ), had been inactive for more than 1 month. In the isolation tank, I had to put her into the water dish or food dish - since she had difficulties to walk. She has molted one week ago and the legs have been re-grown ( she had lost 3 of her 4 walking legs ).

Wow that would be hard to get around with so little legs. I'm glad she regenerated well. :D

Great-looking Indo, too.

Hard to believe those long legs grew from the stubby little gel legs. As usual, thank you for sharing with us.

One of my straws has grown its new left pincer - and it is smaller than the right one.

That's very odd to see the two pinchers switched on the land hermit crab. What an interesting Strawberry!

Your crabs are gorgeous! Hard to believe that those nice looking legs came from those stubs. Your Straw is interesting to.

I'm very impressed that you kept your Hermie's alive when they had lost the ablity to get to the food bowl.

One of my blueberries who had lost his right pincer has grown a gel limb.
He has been burrowing in the sand since this morning - perhaps will molt in a few days:

Hi MH - As usual, I always thank you for sharing your amazing crabs, their diversity and the fantastic pictures you take of them.

I don't know if you're aware that we have a very real, and unsettling, dearth of exotics here in the US.

Are you able to export hermit crabs to the US? If no, would you please tell us why not. If yes. would you please give us more information.
