I had gone out to buy crickets for my dad's anoles about a month ago. Well I just had to look in the hermit tank, which is right next to the crickets... I see this tiny little guy with no BP!!! He is definitely a tiny and he is sooo social. He climbed on top of another crab when I stuck my hand in. It was love at first... at first hold. LOL! Well I just had to buy him. And he was so outgoing in the store he came out so I could tell it was a he... then on top of this he had a gel limb where his BP should have been.

Well he came home and before I blinked had dug down...

One month passes and today I find mold.... no a tiny bit but like half the tank had mold... underneath the soil and above... and most was at the very bottom. Well I sat and prayed for all the crabs to just be digging seeing as about 4 new holes appeared everyday and once in a while someone would tunnel near the glass... I found him...

and he looks perfect. I think I stressed everyone out by having to dig everyone up today so no pictures for a little bit.

But this guy still needs a name... I am going to check for something now... but I have three no names... :(

My fingers are crossed for your little guy :). I make up my substrate and moss and all with salt water to keep down the mold -- it was pretty nasty the first time I realized I needed to .

I'm terrible with names. Most of mine are named for the shell they arrived in, and most of the rest don't have names :).

Deep cleans because of mold are so stressful. You kinda have to just dig and hope. I'm glad you found your little no name alive and well....now to just think of a name for him/her :)
