HCA: Hermit Crab Association

One of my straws that I've had longer than 6 months might be getting ready to molt but I am not sure. I had 1 straw molt go bad (B4 I really read up on them). Now I have 2 straws, one has been down for about 2 weeks so I am not sure about that 1... The one that is in ? seems to dig down, come up for food like once a day and go back down. Do you think this 1 is preparing to molt?

How big is he? My small Es molt about every two or three months. If that means anything , then I would think your Straw is due for a molt. Good luck!!

Have they shown any molting symptoms?

Without more information it's kind of hard to tell, but he might just be digging for the fun of it. We all know how much fun it is to DIG!!!
