Ahhhhhhhh, the dreaded surface-molt! [PICS]

I recently did a deep clean of the 40-breeder, which went fairly smooth, with the exception of the following...........


Aloha, a teenie viola was looking strange to me just following the deep clean. Click to enlarge the pic, to see her "down-cast" eyes. I sensed something might be going on with her:

I was right! Here is the exo:

And look at her now! She has gained quite a bit of color & is now a deep red. I am totally proud of her!

great job aloha! i hope the micro E i found surface molting at petco yesterday turns out as wonderfully as she has.

She's simply beautiful, Kathy! I love her coloring! She's like a hawaiian hibiscus! :)

Glad to hear she's doing well! Wally too is doing great! Eating like a horse now! HEHE Everytime I see him he's in the food dish! LOL

wow, your crabs have great coloring! grats on the sucessful molt!
Currently No Hermit Crabs until I am out of college, but I have over 5 years of crabbing experience, and much advice to offer :)
