first molt

Hi all, I feel like it's been forever since I have had a chance to log on and find out how everyone is doing. I still haven't had a chance to read much and catch up so I hope everyone is doing well.

Of my three crabs two are down for a molt. They have dug completely to the bottom of the tank so If I scoot the tank over just a little I can see them and make sure they are ok. One is in the corner under the salt water and the other is in the other corner under the fresh water. It is just so cool to see the progress and be able to check on them to make sure they are still alive. I don't know if I could handle them being gone so long if I couldn't see them.

I do have a question though...Harry, the one not molting, likes to dump the water dishes (almost every night). Is this going to bother the two that are molting?

If the water is directly over the moulters, there's a possibility that it wouldn't be good, especially if your substrate isn't very deep. How bout moving the water dish?

I can move the dishes, I was just afraid to disturb anything. The substrate is only about 2 inches since my crabs are so small so I should probably move them. Thanks for the suggestion :)
