Don't You Dare Dig, Girrlll!!!!!! How's that??? hee heee

Seriously......I have had smalls (almost tiny's) that have been down for 6 or 7 weeks molting and/or de-stressing. I wouldn't worry yet..... get prepared for them to surface soon.

Also....any chance that your little guys are coming up in the middle of the night?? There are crabs (and I have one) that NEVER stay above ground during the day, but come up at 3am, grab a bite to eat, then tunnel back down. Maybe your crabs are doing this???

Good Luck and keep us updated!

First of all, Regina, all my crabs seem to go down in one area and come up from moulting in another spot, usually at least half way across the tank.

As for moulting times, they are an estimate.

Tang, a medium small, was down for 9 weeks (71 days) but has been up ever since. :glasses7:

Zeek, a smallish small, was down for, are you ready for this? over 15 1/2 weeks!! He came up in the middle of January, stayed up for a few weeks, went back down the end of February and I just saw him up and about two days ago. :smt017

Don't dig!
