Hey guys!
This is Ozzy.
And he's needed a molt since I got him in late January.
He's a medium and..... he's surface molting!
Just now I moved him into iso with some salt water in the dark.
Are there any special suggestions you guys can tell me (please) because I'm worried about Ozzy. It seems like a high-risk molt, having it be a surface molt.
PS - His exo was still stuck to him although he was all the way out so I wet down the sand for moisture.
Please, if there's anything I need to know, please tell me.

All I can suggest is that you leave him alone as much as possible, keep it dark and only disturb him long enough to change the water and/or food in the iso.
My Peach pulled a surface molt one week after I adopted her (thank god she was still in the new crab iso!!) and I left her lone except for the aforementioned reasons. It was especially hard as it was a terrible molt due to the lack of proper care for months by her previous owners.
She got stuck in her exo, too. She couldn't get all of her legs out of the exo so she took out what she could and left the tips in her old exo. Terrifying for me, necessary for her. But, as I said, I left her alone and she did just fine.
She has since molted another time and is little miss queen of the tat, now. So, don't despair.
