my hermit crab has been molting for about 2 weeks and he just changed shells last night he is now completely covered in the sand before he was just partially covered and now I'm just wondering how much longer it will take him to molt he is just a little bigger than a golf ball

If he's about the size of a golf ball, I would say that he would take a month or a month and a half more.

it really depends on the crab himself, and the size. I agree with the above, it will probably be a couple months more. they do take thier time! :|

If he's up and moving about enough to change shells, then he's not molting. :) When they molt they'll park themselves in one place (usually underground) until they've shed their exo and finished eating it. Has he done this yet?

yes hes buried himself
