I think Peanut has shed his exo - with photo!!

Peanut, our smallest crabby, went down for a molt about two weeks ago. We were lucky that he left us a 'window' to his tunnel at the front of the crabitat. Every day we have been peaking into the window to see if he is doing ok. Last night when I went to bed there didn't appear to be any changes. However, tonight when I looked, I could see little peachy colored legs barely dangling out of the opening of his shell, and his old, purple exoskeleton shoved up against the glass. Hubby says he thought he saw him pushing the exoskeleton against the glass earlier, but didn't realize what was going on at the time, lol. Peanut hasn't eaten his exoskeleton yet, so it will probably be a while yet before he surfaces. I'm just happy to see that he was able to molt. :P

I took some pics of the window Peanut left us and thought others would like to see. If you look closely, you can see his newly molted legs right above the head of his exo.
