New shells :)
Since I have had no luck at local craft stores we took a drive 30 miles to the coast to the local shell shop.. I love being able to pick them out. I wasn't able to measure what I needed so I took the old shell with me and one that one of the hermits keep changing out if.. I think it's to big so I got new shells in between the two sizes.. here are their new shells and some pictures of The Shell Shop. They have been around for over 60 years. I loved coming here as a kid now my kids have an even better reason to come.

I had a white basket like that and one of my crabs got stuck in between the bars. I had to pry them apart. Just a heads up, something to look out for. I was sad cuz I loved it

Re: New shells :)
I wish there was a shell shop like that where I live. I have 4 PP crabs who are very choosy about what they wear. They all prefer the green turbos but 2 have grown so big they can't fit what's available around here (I live in the middle of the desert). I'm going to have to start shopping online, which I don't like so much because I can't see and feel the shells. I prefer to give 'em a good look from a crab's eye point of view before I buy. Often shells will have chips in the openings or small holes in the body. This means automatic rejection in my tank. We're talking buried at the bottom of the tank shame kind of rejection.

Is the name of the store the shell shop or seashells and sawdust
