Shell Carving

Post by ROSIEonFIRE » Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:38 pm

Has anyone here ever done any shell carving? I just got four new 2" turbos today and one of them is a 'green' banded, which is really lovely but it feels a little heavy in my hand and i can tell its on the thick side. Being the crafty crafter that I am I was thinking about maybe shaving a little off of it. Anyone have any experiences here? I included a pic of the shells btw

I know GabyRaven has an etsy shop for carved Hermie shells. They aren't cheap but they're gorgeous!

She used a dremmel.
