Shell change

I'm so happy! My Timon is in a magpie finally! He changed out of the gold mouth he was in. I thought for sure he didn't like the magpies but I'm beginning to think he likes the heavier shells.

Magpies are rarely chosen in captivity because of how heavy they are. :)

Agreed! However, it is what they wear in the wild, and if they have never been given the option of other types of turbos will wear them happily, knowing no better.

I do try to follow the preferred shell guide and picas are on the preferred list. However, I will see what other preferred shells I can buy.
