Has anybody had trouble getting a response from Naples Sea Shell Company?

This is where you discuss shells for your hermit crabs. Not for selling/swapping shells, use Classified Ads for that.

Has anybody had trouble getting a response from Naples Sea Shell Company?

Post by zachman » Thu Oct 27, 2022 5:21 pm

I recently ordered a bunch of shells from the Naples Sea Shell Company because of a recommendation I found on this website. Unfortunately, due to some legal circumstances with the USPS, the package was returned to sender against my will. I found out about this mid-return and tried to contact them before it even got back to their facility. It has now arrived at their facility after three days and I've called them about nine times and haven't gotten a response at all. I've emailed them twice and messaged their social media account, all of which are being ignored. I'm worried about my crabs because they're getting big. I've had them for over a year and a half and I would really hate it if they died because of stupid circumstances. I don't have the money to buy another order, if I did, I absolutely would just do that. Is there any for sure way to get in contact with them? Because I've left numerous voicemails explaining the situation and still it's radio silence.

Thank you

Is it at the USPS facility or back at Naples?
Like any company, I would give them a couple of days to return messages before panicking. Everyone is short staffed right now it seems, and small businesses are particularly hard hit. I'm sure your crabs will be fine with the shells you currently have for a few more weeks.
