Got some new shells in the mail

My dad lives in South Carolina, he sent me some shells in the mail from a shell shop near his house. Not too bad. I have one PP that never chooses turbo shells, he's always in one of those rapana (I think?) shells. he doesn't seem to like anything else, so maybe he'll like these rounded ones. 50 cents a piece, so not too bad if they don't like then.

:) he did good. He's a crab fan, although he doesn't keep them ( he had one about 20 years ago, Sebastian). i put in the new shells and removed a few older ones to rotate them, and Hermie changed into an old shell! They're so funny, "Ooh, new shells!" *puts on one that's been in the tank forever*

I want to get down to SC for a visit soon, I'll have to check out the store when I'm there and stock up. He said they sell crabs there, and when he was shopping for shells the clerk told him not to buy the painted ones because they don't like them, even though painted were $2/ea and natural were 50 cents/ea. He already knew not to buy painted, but we both thought that was pretty cool that she went out of her way to give good info
:cheer:
