Well, Duck jumps in and out a lot, and if anyone else wants one, she'll stand over it and guard it. When she was little, she would get in a half coconut hut (wow, she was little), I have to laugh when I remember she used to get in the hut and pull as many shells as she could to the door to cover it. She's so full of it, she probably slept with one eye open, er one eye out... Ha ha.

that sounds so cute! i have a little guy who is currently going crazy shell shopping three nights in a row! i should put in a cocohut and see if he will drag them in with him.

Those shells are beautiful. My guys are all still in the same shells. B o r I n g. Ha ha. I have offered many many. They're just comfortable, which should make me happy... Ha ha. I did catch Dorothy walking down into the water. Guess I told you I took the air out, at least now they'll go on that side of the tank.

Didn't know I'd end up writing full update... I did get some good pictures last night.... I'll go put their where they belong. I don't mean to disrespect by posting in the wrong place... Just get carried away.

haha that is adorable! I feel like this crab is definitely a shopaholic, every time I put new shells in there he changes.

Okay so I did pull out my bag of Mexicans and a ruler last night. The largest ones are between 2-2.5 inches in total length with openings ranging 1" to 1 1/4" and largest 1 1/2" and there is a good like 8 big ones. I did get a few with holes and rough edges but for the price and quantity it was no biggie. I'll use the holy ones for a craft or something and the rough/chipped edge ones I have filed some of them down smooth. I rubbed the edge along a wet piece of cinder block it worked great lol. I did ask the seller before I placed my order to please include as many large size shells as possible and to please make sure that none were broken or had holes. It wasn't a perfect order as some are not useable but for the price and quantity I think still worth it. I only have one crab using one at the moment. My crabs don't seem terribly interested in them so far but my bigger guys haven't been doing much shell shopping lately.

Just got hope they have sizes I need. They are also in need of just new options so even if they heat all 48 shells they will have to look over all 48. Hahaha. We need a shell trade going.

Can we get the link to that? And i also think a shell trade is a GREAT idea. Of course i own about 8 shells total right now but someday ill have some extras im sure!
