Okay, I'll admit it..i'm not very good at measuring shells for my crabbies. I was wondering if someone could show me a visual on how they measure their crabs shell so I know I'm not being a moron. Last time I ordered a shell for one of my crabs..the shell ended up being so big that he could live inside of it...WHICH HE IS...so please help this poor fool with his measurements :P

I just wanted to add if you're ordering from Richard's sea shells, they are still working on opening sizes so you have to specify what sizes you need in the comments, also while they are my favorite place to buy shells, Naples is much more accurate with sizing, and they ship much faster imo.

Get a digital caliper we use them at work I'm a machine operator it's much easier to use than analog one's than look up a conversion chart to inches
