And apparently none of them are good enough
I swear he's going to be in his ugly painted bird shell forever. He checks them out but so far none have met his approval.

Is he an E? They are notorious for holding onto shells for FOREVER. Even the painted ones...stubborn things.

Nope he would be a little PP who I have seen change shells 1 time in the past month just to change right back. I keep telling him that just because they stuck a beak and googly eyes on you that doesn't make you a bird

I am in the SAME boat with my PP. he just went down for a molt though so hopefully when he comes up he will be ready to ditch his hideous pastel green alien face shell.

They must be. The majority of my crabs are in shells that hermit crabs aren't supposed to even like. I'm starting to wonder if that one isn't so used to the weird, lop sided weight of the beak that normal shells feel weird to him
He has plenty of options and I told him I'm done buying new ones...he's becoming a hoarder :roll:
