Does anyone know the name of this shell?

Aston chooses this one shell over the 10+ turbos I have. Like he will wear those for a day switch back and be in this one for a few days. I want to get him more in different sizes since he likes it so much. It's much lighter(thinner?) than the turbos so that may have something to do with it. After doing a little searching on my own I'm thinking it's a lightning whelk but with the end broken off... Any thoughts would be great!

Looks a bit like the king conch I ordered from Naples. It is very light for its size.

It's a king crown. I've had several young crabs who adored them until they grew larger. I've never seen the shell any bigger that what you have pictured though.

He's about the size of a nickel so I'm thinking he'll be able to wear a few more for a little bit haha

That's the same shell my Crabby Girl likes. I've had a tough time finding them.
