PP in a shark eye shell?

So I have this lil crabbie that was in a painted shell. she finally changed it today and to my surprise despite having 20+ turbos of various types in the tank in her size range she chose a shark eye shell! Anyone else ever have a PP choose one? Just curious as I know these are not usually preferred by PPs.

Yes they are not usually preferred but crabs are weird. I had one of my pp s in a tiny land snail shell for awhile till he outgrew it. They choose what they like at the moment and maybe he'll switch again. Crabs do the weirdest things sometimes.

Haha yeah she is a silly crab! She changed again into a Babylonia shell this time

Update: she switched again this time into a tapestry turbo that is like 3 sizes too big! I almost cannot see her when she retracts and I have no idea how she is managing to lug this thing around! she really freaked me out yesterday morning when I uncovered the tank I saw the Babylonia she had been wearing up in the "big crab" shell shop and thought "No...No way shes wearing one of these! I hope she not naked!" The "little crab" shell shop was undisturbed. I searched the tank and finally found her at the bottom of a moss pit in that big ol shell. She really is a silly lil thing!

hahaha, that is funny. I think sometimes they just like to try things on that they've never tried on before to give it a test drive before they decide what they like or not

Update: so this silly girl went through a few other shells but ended up back in the shark eye shell and has remained in it for the past few weeks lol
