POLISHING UP a shell

Sometimes after a quick boil or just receiving a dull looking shell, you can get some clean and shiny again. I got the idea today after buffing my nails, so i tried it on a shell and it worked on the turbo. I started with a coarse grit file and lightly ruffed it up. I then took it down to another file, then a smoother file and finally to the buffing file. It will take a bit of time and is good for a sit in front of the tv. It made the shell look and feel better.
It Works!!!

I personally go with olive oil. Works a treat and all you need is a paper towel and a small dab to get shine back into the shell.

I'm getting visions of a little crabby shell shine boy on a corner.
