HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I've had Mu since July of last year. He was one of my first crabs and he's still going strong. When I first had only him and epsilon, I went though the whole debacle of epsilon shaking Mu out of his shell and stealing it. At the time (this was in my very early stages of crabbing and I was still very uneducated) there were only 3 shells in the tank. Mu was forced to move into one of the three spare shells, each were much too big for him. He decided on a huge green turbo and promptly moved in. He had to lug that huge green turbo around for about a week until epsilon got bored of his shell. Current day, my smaller crabs have been on a shell shopping frenzy and Mu decided to move into the exact green turbo from so long ago and it fits him quite well. He's molted twice since then so it's great to know that's he's grown so much under my care. Mu now

I don't think it's the same shell but it's a dang good looking crab congratulations!

If your are unsure it's the same shell because the color isn't as bright, how many times have you boiled it, I have heard it will decrease color over time. I'm too new to say from experience,but I believe I have read it a couple times.
