Looking for lightweight turbo shell with 2" opening

Does anybody know where I can find turbo shells that have a 2" opening? My crab is picky. He doesn't like the heavy shells such as the carved or green turbos. He likes the lighter, thinner shells like the pearl ones. He recently molted and I can't for the life of me find the shells he likes to upgrade him to for his next molt.

Naples is a pretty popular site that people order from for shells. They have quite a variety, and I've seen some 2" turbos there.

Yeah, I was on that website today and didn't see anything he'd like in his size. :(

A shell that big is going to be a little harder to find a lighter shell unless you get one of the polished white ones, often called polished mother of pearl(I think). I got a few of mine at Richards Sea Shells on Etsy, they are pretty light.

Ken Lipe at The Shell Store in Largo, Florida is awesome! Their website is tough to navigate. If you call and talk to him he will more than likely be able to hook you up. Tell him the roller coaster guy that was at Crab Con sent you. We got on a lengthy discussion about coaster there since he and his wife visited two park before the convention. We probably picked up 50-60 shells from him there. I know people in other groups use him as their go to shell guy. http://www.theshellstore.com/

You're not kidding when you say their page is hard to navigate.

I went to that site several times and ended up giving up after trying to figure out how to order. I have seen Ken on facebook group chime in on shell questions and updates with his inventory. I can't imagine most people order directly from the website. I know he had a great selection of shells at Crab Con for just about any size crab from pea sized shells up to almost softball size! Ken also sells shells on ebay under the name "mirrormaker".

Unfortunately Jumbo shells seem to be becoming extremely hard to find now. Since both Naples and HCP are sold out this was the closest I could find. https://www.amazon.com/Hermit-Banded-Na ... 09&sr=8-15
