Thank you Kilimanjaro! Maybe I'll stop having to ask questions soon.

Does this
list get updated every so often or is more a matter of searching and reading other posts to find out additional items not on the
list? I was searching on kale and pumpkin seeds around the forum and they appear to be
safe, but they aren't on the
safe list.
Just curious...I printed out the
safe and unsafe lists and want to make sure I note these items on them.

The
safe list comes from anothe website (Epicurean Hermit), so I'm not sure how frequently they update it.
But yes, there are definitely a lot of foods that are
safe that are not on the
list!
I tend to just stay away from the unsafe
list.

Onion are also toxic to dogs, its up there with chocolate. Just dogs aren't too likely to run off and eat an onion so you don't hear about it much. So not surprising its unsafe for hermit crabs.

Do you know if Mimosa tree leaves or pods (the flowers are gone at this point) are
safe?

So....I know cucumbers are
safe....but what about pickles? Like dill or sweet, as long as some of the juice was washed off first, would pickles be
safe? Just wondering!

I don't think pickles would be safe since there's so much salt and vinegar...

Yeah, as long as it's unseasoned and the only ingredient is turkey.
