1. food such as quinoa beans or oats. should they be prepared in any way or is dry, right out of the packaging ok?

2. are steel cut oats ok?

3. chicken, beef, fish and other safe meats: cooked, raw, both? (i know they should be unseasoned)

They dont have to be but you can steam/cook them or soak them in FW to soften them. I do any and everything. Mostly plain uncooked since its easiest for me. But my crabs seem to like easier to eat foods better.

2. are steel cut oats ok?
Im sorry i dont know. Im sure another member will.

3. chicken, beef, fish and other safe meats: cooked, raw, both? (i know they should be unseasoned)
Honestly same answer as one. I personally so only dehydrated and such. But im a vegetarian so any meat they get is a dog treat or food. [Most of my crab foods are actually things i feed to one of my other pets]
Hope that helps! Replied under your questions

Steel cut oat. I've never seen them for sale, so this may sound slightly obvious, but are they just oats cut up with a steel blade? If so, it should be fine IMO.

Steel-cut oats, also called pinhead oats, coarse oatmeal, or Irish oatmeal are groats of whole oats which have been chopped into two or three pieces. Wikipedia

Thanks, yeah I guess the steel cut oats question was kinda dumb. Just noticed I had them and was wondering. Appreciate all the input

Everything on your list is fine for crabs to eat. You can cook it, wet it, or serve it raw/dry. It's up to you. The main thing is that all of it should be organic.

How you prep your organic offerings is totally up to you. I usually always feed mine right out of the package or chopped up in a coffee grinder.
