Vitamin Supplements in Store-bought Food?

Post by Megg45 » Thu Jun 29, 2017 5:01 pm

So I'm looking to buy some new freeze-dried bloodworms for the crabbies and I have found one at Petsmart which lists only two ingredients: Bloodworms and Vitamin E supplements. I'm currently feeding some bloodworms for betta fish, and it only lists bloodworms as the only ingredient.

I've looked at the feeding guides here and haven't found anything about vitamin E in foods. You can see the food here: http://www.petsmart.com/fish/food-and-c ... gid=300113

Does anyone know if it's safe? Thanks in advance!

Yes, it is safe. Vitamin E is a natural preservative.
