Safe oils to use for preparing fish

Post by NovaBelle » Wed Jan 03, 2018 9:47 pm

I have some frozen Hoki fish fillets I wanted to fry up for my hermies dinner tonight. However, this is the first time I am using raw meat and I don't know which or if any oils that would be okay. I see avocado is on the safe list. Does this extend to oil, cause I have avocado and olive oil on hand. Is there a better way? Such as using dechlorinated water?

They can have olive oil, coconut oil, etc, but they certainly enjoy their fishes raw. :)

Yes, you certainly can! :) You can also give them any of the above mentioned oils in a tiny dish :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
