Finding food crabs like

Post by squid » Sun Mar 24, 2019 8:20 am

It’s been a week and a half since I got PPs, and am still trying to figure out what they like to eat
Over the past couple of days I’ve been doing some testing, very little food and only a bit of each type

I have yet to find a protein they don’t mind eating

Two Cheerios today as that’s basically all they ate from yesterday and I’d rather them eat something unhealthy than nothing at all

Foods are always a bit difficult to find favorites at first. Sometimes it takes several feeding for them to try new things. They will also devour a food one then not touch it the next time.

Mine really love apple and pear cores. After I eat either I will drop the entire core in for a day or two until they get funky. They also really enjoy spaghetti and popcorn too. Especially when there is coconut oil on them.

It may also help to make a journal of the foods you feed on a day to day basis. If a food is gone I will put a star next to it. If it hasn't been touched until the next feeding it gets an X. After a few months you can easily see what was their real favorites.
