Ramshorn snails

Post by Pringles » Sat Sep 14, 2019 10:14 am

Hi i was wondering if anyone has fed freshwater ramshorn snails to their hermit crabs with no ill effects?
Or anyone has any insight of whether it will be ok feeding them this as a protein meal.

As long as they sourced from a colony that's disease free, and have been in your care for a couple of generations - less likely to contain diseases - I dont see the issue.

You may have kill them beforehand, squishing them with your fingers/thumb would be a good method.
