Is this okay?

Post by kellylaree82 » Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:34 pm

I was wondering if this is okay to feed my crabs? I fed my fish the Frozen blood works now and had this left over. Also wondering if they can eat flaxseed seeds? The list says flaxseed but I just want to be sure the seeds are okay and also ground flaxseed meal? ImageImage

I was also wondering what type of coffee grinders everyone uses to grind up dried food? I am looking into making my own mixes but not sure on the grinder.

The blood worms are safe.

We have two coffee grinders we use. One is a cheap $15 one from Walmart. I ended up cracking the plastic when I thought it was a good idea to use it for powdering popcorn kernals! Lol!

The other is a Kitchen Aid we also got at Walmart. It has a stainless steel container. We also purchased a Spice grinder accessory kit off Amazon for it.

They both work/ed great for small batches. If you overload them they stop grinding because the blade area fills with powder. I would think a bullet would work as well.

Thank you, I actually have a bullet. Never thought about that.

Flaxseed is fine whole or ground, but be warned the fats in the ground version may go rancid after a few days.
