Silver Vine (silvervine) ?
I bought some "cat twigs" for my cats--they are sticks of the Silver Vine or silvervine plant, which some cats love, but some don't--similar to catnip, which some cats go crazy for, and some don't seem to notice at all. They are sold as "Cat Twig" or CatTwig. My cats turned out not to think they are anything special, so I'm wondering if I can use them in the crabitat in some way. I've checked both the safe and unsafe/unpopular foods list, and didn't see it listed--does anyone know if there's any problem with this plant?

Based on Wikipedia, silvervine is a member of the Kiwifruit family. Kiwi is on the safe list. Silvervine is used as a catnip in China and catnip is on the unsafe/unpopular food list. Based on it's use as catnip I would highly question if this would be safe. Based on that I would say No, or use at your own risk.

No crab has ever been harmed by catnip to our knowledge. Worse case scenario is they decide not to eat it.

Re: Silver Vine (silvervine) ?
There was an innate fear of all mints back in the day, but other people had been feeding spearmint and peppermint without knowing about it - and the crabs were fine. Crabs don't tend to like very fragrent herbs, but it doesn't seem to harm them. (I did food trials with peppermint and spearmint myself, with no issue. They just didn't seem to eat them.)
