organic inulin.

Post by MrMysterious » Thu Jul 25, 2024 1:01 pm

Hi,

I bought some organic purple carrot powder, and some organic blue corn powder, but both have organic Inulin added. Is this safe? I had a look at the safe food list but saw nothing about it or chickory.

Wikipedia says this about inulin.
Inulins are a group of naturally occurring polysaccharides produced by many types of plants,[1] industrially most often extracted from chicory.[2] The inulins belong to a class of dietary fibers known as fructans. Inulin is used by some plants as a means of storing energy and is typically found in roots or rhizomes

Inulin is just fiber, it won’t hurt them
