Broccoli...cooked or raw?

Post by BG21 » Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:58 pm

New hermit mom 😁 we adopted a hermit on Friday. We are slowly introducing more food to him(going off the food list here on the site) . We did banana and some bug mixture from the store tonight and he LOVED the banana!! I wanted to give him broccoli tomorrow, does it need to be cooked or no? Thanks😁

I don't think that broccoli needs to be cooked. :) I don't think anything else needs to be cooked either, besides meat.
I love my two cool crabs Zote and Fizban.
And my cats Echo and Smudge.

Nothing needs to be cooked, raw or cooked is fine. Some crabs will prefer things one way or the other - mine eat pasta cooked but rice only raw LOL.
Be sure that you are feeding a variety of foods, including animal protein (bugs, meat) daily, as well as calcium. Sometimes you need to offer a food a few times before they eat it.
