So, I know that the calcium sands are a bad idea to use in your crab cage, but I was wondering if you could put some in a dish for the hermit crabs to eat, for a source of calcium?
Just a new crabber trying to take the best care of her crabs she can. :)
5 Purple Pinchers, 15 gallon tank. (4 small, 1 medium.)

The fact that calci sand can cause impaction issue in reptiles makes me believe that it is not meant to be edible.

Someone else feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
