My crabbies get a treat tonight, for my dog's 8th birthday I'm making a Sweet Chicken Dinner and all the ingredients are safe for hermies! It has chicken, pumpkin puree, brown rice and blackstrap molasses in it. Sounds like a sticky mess but I bet they will love it. The dogs version will have yogurt, but I decided to leave that out in the hermies.
Then for dessert I am making pupcakes (homemade cupcakes for dogs), I have to do some checking on ingredients, but I think they will get to eat that too!

My crabs are getting an experiment for dinner...homemade crabby food (like the canned hermit crab food only I'm making it). I'm sure it will stink but the crabs will like it. They better cause even if I take some to my cousin for her crabs there is going to be a ton lol
I was blanking on what to give them so I just kind of threw things in, A dog biscuit dip in honey, some granola, Eggshell, pineapple, and salmon. Someone was really hungry because the salmon is gone and the rest is pretty well demolished. Makes me happy because with two small crabs they don't usually eat like that
I borrowed a food dehydrator and have been using it since mid-summer. I've put up a lot of fruits, veg, and herbs. I made a big jar of dried fruit salad for the crabs and finally started feeding it last night (along with other stuff). This morning, someone has eaten all the banana chips! Strawberries, etc were fairly popular, but they went nuts for 'naners. Which is strange, since no one ever touches it when it's fresh. Fussies.
Pretty simple tonight is celery, roses petals, raspberry and leaves, black berries leaves, dandelion, Strawberry leaves, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, maybe pop corn if I can get it to pop all with a light drizzle of Extra virgin olive oil.Oh and soon going to add some avocado I forgot I have.
Mine are having chicken and dumplings- minus the dumplings. I cooked everything hermie safe first (chicken, carrots, celery tops, plus hermit safe herbs) then dished a portion for them. I gave them theirs, then finished cooking mine with all the dumplings etc.
I was making my kids dessert and decided I could probably give some to the crabbies~i of course left out a few ingredients but they had mashed raspberries with fresh mint muddled into it with crushed almonds on top~they went bonkers over it and I had to put in 2nds!!
I made a Pepsi Roast (which is delicious) and before I put seasonings on it I cut a piece off and cooked it for the hermies. They also get a mix of veggies and a powdered mix I made myself but seems to be a huge hit with my E's. My PP's wont eat for a few more hours so I wonder how they will like it.
Chicken Gizzards!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW, I have never seen ALL of them troughed at the dinner dish like I did last night!!!! I had to make seconds!!!!
(I put acorn squash and bug-n-nuts in there too.. no takers)

I haven't posted here yet. Tonight's dinner was some honey, grasshopper crunch, red shrimp, strawberry leaves, bee pollen, and the usual container of crushed cuttlebone (that stays in all the time)
