I must say I never imagined they could be so finicky or that it would be such a challenge to feed the Hermit crabs!!!! I'm baffled.

They did at least 'taste' the baby food mix of apple/mango/kiwi.

A little tomato, lettuce, peanut butter, and tetra-flauna commercial hermit crab food. Yum!

Tonight is the all time favorite for my guys, snap peas, carrots, bell pepper, rice, chicken, and broccoli.Within a hour, the food dish is empty and the food has been dragged all over the second story. :roll:

and popcorn
All mashed up

Tonight was mealworms, strawberries, sweet potato, Brussel sprout, a cheerio, cuttlefish bone, grapes, and the fav, honey mashed carrots!

Today my crabs get a little taste of spring! They get Tulip petals soaked on salt water with a drizzle of honey. My crabs LOVE tulips. I may add their favorite side dish...... almonds!

Tonight was a slice of carrot, ground up cuttle bone, crushed almonds, and a dash of terra fauna commercial food. He sure is loving those almonds.

Brocolli, crushed almond, banana, sliced rose petals, and a sprinkle of cuttle bone power. Yay new foods for Carlos!

Decided to be adventurous today while shopping and got a prickly pear
So my crabbies are having prickly pear and potato slices tonight

raisins, fish flake food, honey, orange

Banana, salmon, Sweet potato, Egg shell, mango, and strawberry. I guess I've been doing something right since my purple pinchers came up and both are turning blue. They both have just a little red on the inside of their legs and then the rest is all blue. They use to be a gray color.

"Crab" butter and it seems to be a hit

"crab" butter is a homemade peanut butter that I made. It includes peanuts, honey, oats, a bit of de chlorinated water and a dash of sea salt
