Re: Crabs not eating
Hi, sometimes new crabs eat a lot and other times they don't. They pick teeny bits off of their food as well so sometimes we can't tell if they've eaten or not. Pellets aren't really good for them anyway. You want to offer forms of animal protein such as pieces of unseasoned chicken, beef, turkey, dried insects like crickets, meal worms, also shrimp, krill, dried snails, squid or anything similar that is crab safe and not processed with any chemicals or salt or anything.
Random assorted fresh veggies are good as long as they are safe but protein and calcium sources are a daily need. Check out the safe food list for more options.
