I have several different popcorn blends with ground popcorn, I think 10. They get one maybe 1 or 2 times a week. I recommend sprinkling some type of supplement on it so they get nutrition with their treat.

Popcorn should be unsalted/un-buttered if your using the type that goes into the microwave, I know of a lot of crabbers who make air popped pop corn and give it to their crabs plain several times a week and as long as your offering something else with some nutritional value you should be good to go as pop corn is really just empty calories for the crabs on its own.

They will demolish it unpopped as well. I use it in my daily dry mix, and give whole ears (fresh or dried) every once in a while to give them something to pick at.

It was plain popcorn that I popped and I put 6 to 8 peices aside in a ziploc bag. I try to offer 2 to sometimes 3 healthy options every night as well. I found out last night he loves walnuts and bananas!

About once a week, I skim off a few pieces of popcorn and put them aside before salting the big bowl. (I eat popcorn nearly every day.) I pop in coconut oil. When they're cool, I seal them in a plastic bag.

Sometimes I toss it in spirulina of kelp, but I often just toss a piece or two in the food dish every few days.

And now I'm craving popcorn...

My guys get popcorn almost daily; I rotate in blends from The Hermit Crab Patch and they go pretty crazy for it.

I make air-popped popcorn once or twice a week and dole out pieces to the mice, crabs and dog before I get to have any. The crabs usually get four pieces, in theory one piece each; however, the crab that gets to the dish first will literally guard all the pieces, eating as fast as he can, so the latecomers are left with little bits and pieces  .
