Do they eat live frogs? Or living food?

I have fed them cicadas before, and many people here feed crickets to their hermies.

My hermies have five dishes so they get a mix.

1: sun dried red shrimp with beef lung and some cuttle bone broken off in

2: carrots and mushrooms

3: plain yogurt with an oat/sunflowe seed/pumpkin seed/dried cranberry mix on top

4: mix greens [not lettuce just spinch some arugula and kale i think...]

5: black berries with red grapes and a little honey

Tonight they got an organic mixture of freeze dried blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries ground up with coconut flakes, chia seeds, gogi berries and hemp hearts.

Most of the foods I feed are dehydrated. As long as there are no added preservatives, and just lists whole ingredients it should be okay.

Crickets are a good source of chitin, which is awesome for their exoskeleton. What is the mix called?

reptile munchies- omnivore mix by zilla
ingredients:
bok choy, zucchini, breen beans, peas, bananas, carrots, crickets, mealworms and silkworm pupae.

i just did a small half spoon tonight but its one part warm water to two parts mix and let sit 5min. gonna see how this goes and they also have other diets and mixes (like fruit/insects/veggies). was super convenient tonight! (they also got a little yogurt, some oat mix that had pumpkin seeds, sun flower seeds, and cranberries, carrots and then just some mixed greens.

That all sounds great. Good job on offering a variety! The only thing I'd steer clear of is the hotdogs, and any other food with added sodium/ additives. :)

There's a whole host of foods which are safe for hermies and can be found at major pet stores.

I use the vegetarian mix from one manufacturer and the turtle mix from another. And speaking of dried foods, I also use dried red shrimp, mealworms, crickets, bloodworms,, etc.
